What is REQUIRED for Guard members by KHSAA and HCS?

  • Sports Physical
  • Middle School Level Participation Physical Form
  • CLICK HERE to access the KHSAA Athletic Participation Form/Physical Exam for students in grades 5-8 participating in competition for grades 6-8 (middle school). If a middle school student-athlete participates at the high school level as well, the High School Level Physical Form must be completed as well. Please see the link below.

  • CLICK HERE to access the High School Level Participation Physical Form (students in grades 9-12 (high school).
  • All students must be enrolled in Healthy Roster and all forms must be completed and Sports Physical uploaded in order to participate.

  • Once form is completed and submitted you should receive a registration code within 72 hours.

What will you child need at band camp?

  • Sunscreen, sunscreen and sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Water bottle, the bigger the better
  • A good pair of tennis shoes
  • Fitted clothing (no baggy clothing)

What will your child need during Guard season?

  • Equipment gloves
  • Each member is provided with the first pair and responsible for bringing them to all practices and events.
  • If gloves are lost there will be a $30 charge to get a new pair.
  • Show Shirt
  • Each member is provided with 1 show shirt and is responsible for bringing to all practices and events.
  • Makeup & Hair products
  • Information on products needed will be provided by Guard Director.
  • All makeup and hair products are purchased by the member.
  • Show Shoes & Uniform
  • 1 uniform and 1 pair of shoes is provided for each member. 
  • Neither item should be taken home at anytime unless approved by Guard Director in advance. 
  • If uniform is lost there is a $300 replacement fee.
  • If shoes are lost there is a $50 replacement fee.
